Arrival of the bride is a must capture event whatever the weather, rain or shine. This is a time when things often run a bit late and there can be pressure on the bride to get into the ceremony. However, it can be a good time to pause for a few seconds in order to grab a few quick but often precious and unique shots of the bride with her father and/or the bridesmaids with the bridal car or with a backdrop of the ceremony venue. Sometimes I take pictures from in front of the groom as he waits for the bride to arrive. As well as getting priceless pictures of the groom's expressions, this can result in some great shots of the guests, as emotions tend to run very high as the bride arrives.
